Meet The Coaches
I've been running for the past 5 years. I started knowing nothing about running. I grew up with the program which allowed me to have the courage to attempt my first ½ marathon. I now have completed 7 half marathons and 6 marathons, but , most importantly I have met some of the coolest people ever and think of them as my running family.
I’m a 16x Ironman with a 10:44 PR, 10x marathoner with a 3:13 PR, Ultra marathoner, Nordic Ski Marathoner and an Olympian. I started Valley Running Co. to help promote the sport of running in our community. I’ve been a coach with Valley Running Club for 5 sessions and conduct a form clinic each session.
I am a Valley Running Club coach, and I work for Valley Running Co. and Endurance Splits. I discovered my love of running in high school while competing in cross country and track & field. I now get to spread that love with others in our running community. In addition to being a coach, I also am in charge of our club’s Strength & Agility class.
I’ve been with Valley Running Club since the group began when we were training for the San Antonio ½ Marathon. I began as a runner before becoming a coach. I’ve finished 6 marathons including Chicago, LA, San Francisco, New York, Houston and DC. I’m also a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga instructor and certified TRX fitness instructor. I’m a mother of 2, and my kids participate in our club also. In addition to coaching, I also host our club Yoga class.
